Venus Fly Traps

These are our venus fly traps. They were something of pets before we adopted Presley, seeing as how they eat flies, we figured they were more than just 'plants'.
I had bought Brady a tiny trap when we were dating and it flourished in his dorm room; feasting on the many flies that inhabited the place and reveling in the sunshine of his windowsill. It died on the way back home this past summer, however. So when we found that Superstore was carrying them again, we picked up the three most healthy plants- at a discount, too!- and hurried them home to nurture them. One plant didn't make it but we still have two left They are only small and the traps, right now anyway, are only about the size of a pinkie fingernail.
